E-Waste World 2021

We are delighted to be attending the E-Waste World Conference & Expo in Frankfurt this November. With Covid-19 moving many exhibitions online, we are looking forward to meeting you all face to face after a long 18 months.

With the conferences goal to display and showcase all the newest recycling technologies, material recovery solutions, circular economy solutions and end-of-life strategies, FPD Recycling is looking forward to sharing the FPD PRO solution to the recycling industry.

With 53.6 million metric tons of e-waste generated in 2019, it is clear that we have huge problem with our end-of-life electronics. With consumers constantly updating to the latest technologies, we need to have sustainable solutions in place to protect the environment, recover valuable critical raw materials and fuel the circular economy.

Consumer electronics have changed a lot in 20 years – look how our TVs have gotten thinner and smarter. But if you look at their end-of-life phase – not much has changed. The E-waste industry is in urgent need of a safe and profitable process for handling and recycling screens, locally, in the country of origin. The same way automation has revolutionised electronics’ manufacturing, it can change its end-of-life processing. Advanced robotic recycling technologies allow us to move away from the take-make-waste linear model to a circular economy. It is now time to start looking at the e-waste as a source of valuable materials, rather than harmful, toxic waste that is pushed around until it ends up in landfills around the globe.

CEO, Paudy O’Brien will be discussing how robotic technologies are promoting growth of the circular economy and will discuss how the FPD PRO solution can be safe, affordable and profitable for the flat panel display recycling market.

Make sure to drop by our stand (504) on November 30th-1st December to learn more about how robotics & automation can help your recycling processes.
